Green Up Dublin

Last week a group of Champlain College Dublin students joined forces with English language students from Linguaviva to do two things. One was to help clean up the city by walking some of the major streets in the city and collecting discarded cans, wrappers, newspapers and other items that should obviously be in the bin! After returning to the Academic Centre with a huge pile of trash picked up from the street, the students got down to the second event of the day….a BBQ with our friends from Linguaviva! It was a real international affair, with representation from Ireland, USA, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Spain, France, Switzerland, Canada, Ecuador, and Sweden.

Champlain College Dublin took part in the all Ireland Spring Clean ant litter movement for the first time last year and we are certainly planning to make this a regular event. Great job everyone!
